Balance therapy

Balance Therapy

Balance therapy is the identification of the of the source of your imbalance, and use of therapeutic techniques to restore you to your optimal level of function.

Imbalance during movement may be caused by muscle weakness, a displacement of crystals in the ear, vision and more. We help identify the cause. Based on our findings we provide appropriate therapy procedure to include BPPV, physical rehabilitation measures or visual retraining. If we are not qualified to address the cause of your vision impairment, we refer you to a specialist in that area.

Core Health Therapy

Core Health therapy focuses on your body’s specific chronic condition or injury and supports your body’s needs so it can heal naturally.

This therapy is holistic and is used in combination with all our other therapy solutions to help balance your body’s natural healing abilities, appropriately process the nutrients it needs to improve conditions such as: High cholesterol, low energy, joint pain, improve bone health, and reduce medicinal side effects, and more…

During this therapy we may identify conditions that require specialist, and we will provide recommendations and referral.

For example:
Hormonal imbalance may be present. It may present insulin dependence, poly cystic ovarian syndrome, and more. Based on these identified symptoms, we may refer you to a holistic, or medical, endocrinologist for further assessment and treatment.

While working on our pain we may identify your body is not responding to a treatment indicating you may have a fracture, torn muscle, or other acute condition. You may be referred to your PCP for an MRI or X-Ray to identify the reason your body is not responding.

We know we are specialist and experts in our areas of practice, and based on our expertise we are wise to know we are not masters of everything and when necessary, we do seek other providers who are experts in other fields to help get you to your optimal level of function.

 Independent Mobility

Independent Mobility

Independent mobility refers to the use of adaptive equipment such as wheelchairs, canes, scooters, and more to safely participate in both indoor and outdoor activities.

These services require everyone to undergo an assessment of their physical abilities, the demands of the activity, environment and cognitive awareness.

The results of the assessments would provide guidance on the best and most appropriate equipment recommendations to help each person continue to walk or move safely and independently.

Living Independently Therapy

Our Living Independently program is defined as a lifestyle where individuals with, and without, disabilities are empowered to be self-determined in matters such:
• Continuing to live in their home safely.
• Freedom of self-transportation to and from home
• Independent with self-care and mobility
• Independently able to request support as needed.

The level of safe self-determination allowed would be determined through an assessment where we collaborate with the individual and their caregivers to put measures in place that help maintain the individual’s independent quality of life. At times you may require a medical provider and/or a visiting nurse for some aspects of your care. But you maintain your independence by living independently with appropriate support.

The objective with our Living Independently program is to ensure everyone does not see themselves as a burden to others, are not frustrated with their life, they do not go into a depression, and caregivers are not overwhelmed with trying to provide a level of care that their loved one rejects.

We provide balance through evidence to both the loved one and the caregiver to improve both sides’ quality of life.

Pain Therapy

Pain Therapy

Pain Therapy is the use of holistic, non-invasive, therapy techniques to identify the source and type of chronic pain you are experiencing.

We then use advanced technology combined with hands-on muscle release techniques with joint mobilization balance the way your muscles are pulling on your bones and joints to facilitate the body’s muscle and bone alignment to be in their typical alignment which reduce pain intensity.

Physical Rehabilitation

Physical Rehabilitation: We use a combination of techniques, to include some used by physical therapist, yoga instructors and meditation positions to improve muscle lengthening, strength, flexibility, and joint mobility to restore your body to optimal movement and function.

In cases where full functioning is not able to be restored but can be adapted or compensated using a device, such as with individuals who experienced a stroke or diagnosis of Parkinson’s that significantly impact muscle control and movement, we may have to implement assistive devices, medical equipment, or other technologies to assist them with functioning as independently as possible.

Our goal is always to keep you independent and restore you to your optimal level of function.
